Gumdrop
Source are the Official Service Partner for Gumdrop (midlands and south), a revolutionary product that provides full cycle closed loop recycling for gum.
Founded in 2015, Gumdrop bins (made from recycled gum) can be found across the world, helping divert gum from landfill through general waste streams or worse, being thrown on the ground.
The Source team collects and replaces the Gumdrop bins on a quarterly basis, logging the weight of each bin location. The data collected is then collated into a site report for the customer.
The information provides key ESG insights which support objectives around changing anti-social behaviour and monitoring waste streams.

Gumdrop has helped hundreds of customers, from train stations to University Campuses, reduce their cleaning costs, improve aesthetics and create reusable products from the gum collected.
Through their Gumtec (waste product that is repurposed) technology, Anna and the team enjoy collaborating with customers to create products otherwise made from virgin plastic. From Adidas trainers to reusable coffee cups, the possibilities to integrate gum into plastic products is endless.
Gumdrop bins can be placed anywhere thanks to the many options for mounting. Free standing units can be seen around airports, moved to suit the flow of human traffic. Stadiums mount them to walls in men’s washrooms to help avoid gum going into urinals and causing expensive drainage call outs.
